We are looking for a Practice Manager ready to lead and inspire our practice team.

The Milton surgery is well-established and respected GP practice serving approximately 9000 patients. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality patient care whilst fostering a supportive, inclusive, fun and sociable working environment.

Job Description

We are a friendly, welcoming and supportive training practice looking for a Salaried GP to join our team for a 12-month maternity cover position.

We can offer flexibility of 5–6 sessions per week, with no Monday working required. We are particularly keen to support newly qualified GPs and can provide mentoring and guidance to help with the transition from trainee to salaried GP life.

As a training practice, we genuinely value learning, development and team support, and pride ourselves on creating a positive and collaborative working environment.

This role may particularly suit trainees looking for a supportive first salaried GP post.

Advantages of working in Weston – well, there is the beautiful beach and mud!!

There is also the opportunity to have more of a voice in a smaller PCN.

We have Weston PLANET, a unique educational charity run by some of our General Practitioners (GPs) for all primary care clinicians in Weston-super-Mare, Worle and Surrounding Villages. PLANET meetings are on the third Thursday of every month, except August and December. Lunch is always provided, followed by teaching sessions.
